The Manx Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) is a not-for-profit organisation operating in the Isle of Man promoting animal welfare throughout the island. The Society is run by a caring staff under the supervision of the sanctuary Manager, a corps of dedicated volunteers and a Board of Management elected by its members. The MSPCA operates from a modern purpose-built sanctuary in East Foxdale. Surrounded by beautiful Manx countryside, the facilities include dog kennels, a cattery, a small animal unit, an aviary and seal pens, all providing an attractive visitor centre for visiting tourists and Island residents.

Affiliated to the RSPCA, the Society is funded entirely by donations, subscriptions and bequests from the public. Contrary to popular belief, the Society does not receive any funding from the Government. Every year an average of 1,600 animals and birds are admitted to the sanctuary ranging from domestic pets such as dogs, cats and rabbits to wild birds such as seagulls and swans. The Society has successfully raised money for a specialised area to care for and treat injured or sick baby seals.
