Case Story - Wordsworth

Hi, my name is Wordsworth and I’m approx 4 years old. I was admitted to the MSPCA in March 2007 in a terrible condition - my beautiful white fur was totally matted and extremely dirty. I had to visit the vets, he sedated me and I had most of my fur shaved off. It took a number of weeks for my lovely new fur to grow back. I found it very hard to trust people again. For many, many months I didn't want any human contact. With time and patience from the lovely MSPCA staff and Cattery Volunteers I began to realise that life was not as bad as I thought and I started to enjoy having human contact.

Well, just before Christmas a family visited the MSPCA and it was love at first sight! I was adopted by my new owners. They understood that I would need time and patience to settle into my new environment. Well, I settled in almost immediately and have even begun to explore the garden!
