All monies raised by the ‘Friends of the MSPCA’ will go towards a certain project, this will be a dog covered exercise area, which is to be situated beside the kennel block. This particular building is very much needed and will be extremely important for all the dogs that are looking to be adopted at the MSPCA. The building will be used for intensive training programmes with the dogs along with dogs being socialised with each other without interruptions that sometimes can happen in the open exercise dog fields. It will also be of great benefit when the weather is very bad not only for the dogs but also our volunteer dog walkers.

The building will also be used for events that have been organised by the MSPCA. We have found on a number of occasions that we have had to cancel events due to the weather; when we have this building this will not have to happen. The building will also be used for educational purposes which the MSPCA feels is extremely important - the dog covered exercise area as you can see will be used as a multi-purpose building.

At present the estimated cost of the building is in the region of £150,000. ‘The Friends of the MSPCA’ have a long way to go but with such a dedicated group of people we know they will achieve this figure.
